Vintage WWII Navy Military International Maritime Signal Flag Size 4 & Letter H. Shipped with USPS First Class.
This flag was removed from the signal bridge of the USS Charleston as a reallocation to the USS John F. Kennedy cv-67. After, returning to the signal bridge of the Kennedy it was determined the flag was unserviceable because of the dark spot. That is how I got the flag.
I was a corpsman (sw) working in the flight deck Battle Aid Station and would go to the signal bridge as often as I could.
I know it came from the Charleston because I accompanied my signalman friends on the reallocation mission. We had just returned from Desert Storm and then we returned to the gulf.
